Costs and Payment Options
Statutory Health Insurance Patients
I offer child and adolescent psychotherapy for all patients insured under statutory health insurance. The costs of behavioural therapy are covered by statutory health insurance providers. Billing is carried out using your health insurance card, which should be brought to the first appointment and again at the beginning of each new quarter. If you have already received psychotherapy within the last two years, please inform me, as this may affect the formal application process with your health insurance provider.
Private Insurance Patients
In general, private health insurance providers cover the costs of psychotherapy. It is recommended that you contact your insurance provider before starting treatment. They will inform you about the extent of coverage and the necessary administrative steps required to apply for outpatient psychotherapy. Fees are based on the official scale of fees for psychotherapists (GOP).
Subsidy / Public Assistance (Beihilfe)
Cost coverage by employers’ liability insurance associations and public assistance offices is usually straightforward. It is advisable to check the applicable procedures with your relevant office in advance. As with private insurance, fees are based on the official scale of fees for psychotherapists (GOP).
Self-Paying Patients
Self-payment for psychotherapy is possible. Services are billed privately and are based on the official scale of fees for psychotherapists (GOP).
